Campaign Statement

In my previous four years as RVC, I have been grateful for the enthusiasm of the many dedicated volunteers in my Region. I've established a large and active Facebook group for Region 10 where I've been able to share news from the National level and reports about activities throughout the Region, to expand upon the information in my monthly columns, and to recognize the contributions of our local volunteers. At the National level I'm serving on several committees, including Communications, Risk Management, Community Service, and Local Group Revitalization, and am currently serving as AMC Liaison for the 2017 Annual Gathering in Hollywood, Florida. I've been able to draw upon my past experiences serving in nearly every local group office in order to advise and assist local groups where requested. If I am re-elected, I want to encourage local groups to expand their reach to the membership, through greater use of cross-border activities, planning processes to develop community focus, and expansion of social media availability. Making use of all available communication channels is of paramount importance if Mensa is to achieve its mission of providing a stimulating intellectual and social environment for our members.
